Vanessa Barnes
Founder & Managing Partner
Chartered Financial Planner
After working for three years in scientific research, Vanessa joined a national firm of financial advisers in 1986. Over the next 10 years she became a recognised pension specialist and received an Independent Financial Adviser Of The Year Award. Having established Hannay Investments in 1996, Vanessa is proud to be leading a three woman adviser firm which is probably unique in Financial Services.
Vanessa enjoys travelling with her family, particularly to their cottage in Normandy. She is currently supporting a number of projects linked to the celebration of 100 years since women were given the vote in 1918.
Anne Ratnam
Chartered Financial Planner
Anne has been an IFA for over 9 years and prior to this spent over 23 years with a major Life & Pension provider. She is a Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of The Personal Finance Society and a pensions specialist. Anne loves to travel, particularly to spend time with family in Australia. At home in the UK she belongs to a rambling group and is currently learning to play the pia
Kelly Warden
Senior Financial Planner
Kelly was a founder member of national IFA Chase de Vere and brings a wealth of experience to Hannay Wealth LLP, having joined Hannay Investments in 2001. As regulatory requirements have increased, Kelly’s role at Hannay has expanded to include fund research and analysis. She is also qualified to write Powers Of Attorney and Wills and is developing our policies with regard to later life issues. Until recently, Kelly combined her career in Financial Services with being a semi-professional jazz singer (look her up on iTunes) and weekends were spent with her band entertaining in clubs and bars in and around London.
Stephanie Barker
Senior Financial Administrator
Stevie has previously worked as a Financial and Mortgage adviser, Credit Controller, Advertising Director and Hotel Manager. With her breadth of experience, she brings efficiency and attention to detail in all our support systems. Stevie has also performed as a professional singer, including early work as a Red Coat at Butlins! She remains passionate about music but also loves to travel off the beaten track to places such as Uzbekistan, Nepal and Cambodia.
